In the course of quality assurance as well as improvement of tomographic data, you will be responsible for the development of algorithms for the automatic adjustment of beamline and process parameters. Furthermore, you will develop characteristic values or metrics related to the use of machine learning for automated quality assurance as well as algorithms for DAQ hardware-specific artifact reduction. As part of the implementation of high-throughput tomography, you will minimize the data flow between camera, reconstruction server, and memory to generate a fast response to the DAQ hardware. Furthermore, you will implement automated DAQ protocols based on the developed metrics and algorithms of data reduction.

You have a university degree (Diplom (Uni)/Master) in computer science, mathematics or physics. Your interdisciplinary competences are characterized by a fast comprehension as well as abstract thinking. You find it easy to transfer existing methods to alternative applications. You move confidently in an interdisciplinary environment and enjoy working in a team.
Salary category 13, depending on the fulfillment of professional and personal requirements.
