Job description

Your responsibilities will include contributing to the acquisition of national and international research projects in the field of GIS and BIM applications in the energy sector. You will support the conception and development of software applications in the field of thermal simulation on building and city level and the provision and organization of container applications. Furthermore, you will document results and prepare publications for national and international journals and scientific conferences. In addition, you will supervise student theses and scientific papers.

Personal qualification

You have a university degree (diploma (university)/ master's) with a doctorate in computer science or engineering. Knowledge in software engineering, container orchestration and very good programming skills in C++ or C# are required. Experience in 3D visualization/virtual reality with OpenGL as well as in algorithmic geometry is desirable. Your profile is rounded off with knowledge in the field of thermal building simulation. Good German and English language skills are required.


Salary category 13, depending on the fulfillment of professional and personal requirements.
