Job description

The Collaborative Research Center “Wave phenomena – analysis and numerics” (CRC 1173) is currently seeking to recruit a Junior Research Group Leader in Analysis (f/m/d) with a research focus on Partial Differential Equations related to wave phenomena.

The CRC is funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG). Its goal is to analytically understand, numerically simulate, and eventually manipulate wave propagation under realistic scenarios by intertwining analysis and numerics, see for a list of participating scientists and project descriptions.

The CRC promotes outstanding young scientists on their path towards a scientific career. The Junior Research Group Leader will independently develop her/his own research project. The successful candidate can apply to become a KIT Associate Fellow allowing to supervise doctoral researchers.
