Job description

You will investigate the impact of stellar activity of different star types on the development and chemical composition of exoplanetary atmospheres. You will be responsible for the further development of the ExoTIC ion chemistry model, and to carry out a large suite of model experiments in different stellar environments and planetary base atmospheres. This job offers the opportunity to gain a PhD.

Personal qualification

University degree (master) in physics, meteorology, or geophysics. A solid knowledge of astrophysics or atmospheric sciences are advantageous; good programming skills (Fortran, C++, Matlab or Python) are expected as well as a good command of written and spoken English.


Salary category 13, depending on the fulfillment of professional and personal requirements.
