In the frame of the project INCREASE funded by the German Research Foundation DFG, you will investigate the impact of stellar activity of different star types onto the evolution and composition of exoplanetary atmospheres. For this, you will further develop a planetary atmosphere model, carry out model studies for different star types and planetary atmospheres, and analyse them.
You have a master in physics, geophysics or meteorology, or a comparable degree. You have good English communications skills and are willing to present your research results to a broader public, both on conferences and in relevant journals. Sound knowledge of atmospheric physics and chemistry as well as good programming skills are of advantage.
