Job description
You will work for the project Virtual Materials (VirtMat) which includes the following scientific challenges:
- development of approaches to solve scientific problems in synthetic chemistry through machine learning and Al
- design of software and models for stand-alone use and integration into existing work environments
The software development includes also the coordination of requirements (scientific and infrastructure) with users and the testing of the applications. Documentation and presentation of the project results are also an important part of your work.

Personal qualification
You have a university degree (diplome (university)/master's) in computer science. Alternatively, engineering or natural sciences with a focus on software development, image processing and machine learning are sufficient. Very good knowledge of software development is required. Personally, you are characterised by a pronounced ability to work in a team and flexibility. Knowledge of English is a prerequisite.
Salary
Salary category 13, depending on the fulfillment of professional and personal requirements.
