Job description
- Advanced data analysis of high-impact experimental data from KATRIN
- Development and optimization of analysis pipelines and workflows, particularly for searches of New Physics in KATRIN data
- Maintaining and further developing analysis software, improving reliability, usability, and performance of analysis tools
- Development of a simulation platform for the next-generation differential neutrino-mass measurements using atomic tritium (KATRIN++)
- Contribution to publications and conference presentations
- Supervision of students and supporting the teaching process.

Personal qualification
- University degree in physics (Master) with background in nuclear or elementary particle physics without or with doctorate
- Strong interest in data analysis and computational methods
- Experience with scientific programming (e.g. Python, C++)
- Ability to work independently and in an international collaboration
- Experience with distributed computing, or software development (optional)
- Good knowledge of spoken and written English.
